one down...one to go (but not for a rather long time)

i have finished something that i wanted to do. and that a wrote that i really wanted to do in the last post....i have twilight!
not only have i read twilight, but i have read the two books following twilight in the "twilight saga" (new moon and eclipse)
at first i was just reading these books because i kept seeing and hearing so much hype about them, and i wanted to give them a chance and see what they were all about...
so i went to the library and checked out twilight (the first of four books)
i was warned by my friend jessica who checked it out to me, to NOT fall in love and become a crazy fanatic like so many people before me.
i told her not to worry, i was just reading them out of curiousity....
well, i ended up lying to her.
because i fell COMPLETELY IN LOVE with them.
i remember telling my friend andy frye that i was going to start reading it, and he seemed to think that was a good thing, he had read them and enjoyed them. and not but two and 1/2 chapters later i sent him a message telling him that i was already hooked!!
i could not get enough of this vampire love/action story. it kept me up at night wanting to keep reading and keep reading.
now i admit, it is definitely a book that girls would enjoy more, but its not just a love story, there is more to it than that. i mean, it involves vampires/humans/and eventually werewolves. how could it not.

it is now a week after starting twilight, and i have read all three of the four that are out.

the fourth comes out august 2nd.
its going to be a good day
i can NOT wait to finish the story of bella and edward!!!

.....while reading i found myself caught up in the story and emotion of all the characters...i might be too involved and attached to these books....

things i want to do

so as i sit here listening to the soundtrack of Aida and browsing through flair on facebook, while there is nothing to do at work in the box office, i find myself wanting to do two things very badly.

1. see Aida!!! what an amazing musical...and to think what my opinion would be of it after actually seeing it myself

2. read the Twilight books. there are so many flair pieces about these books, and i am very intrigued.

just doing what i do

soo katie, the previous stage manager for ssdt, had to get a full time job and be all grown up and whatnot, and doing both her full time job and stage managing was just getting to be to much. soooo she told steve she couldnt do it anymore. well, SOMEONE has to be the stage manager..apparently...even though last year was their first year to have one...besides the point...so katie and adam were apparently talking to steve and they suggested me. so i am now the new stage manager for SSDT (steve said he could trust me :) aww)...along with house manager and props mistress...haha
oh man.
so much time working...

im glad i enjoy the theatre world

its what i do
