hmmm...there are so many things/ideas/thoughts that pop into my head throughout the day where i say to myself "i should write about that on my blog." but alas i never do. either they escape me, or i just dont have the time...

things to look forward to...
i love my roommate and i love that she has found someone who is amazing for her! this march will be her and her boyfriends one year anniversary and one of the things she is making for him is a list of "365 ways i love you," and she just let me read what she had so far (265) and it is the cutest list ever!! some of the things on the list are pretty generic, but alot of them are very specific things that they have between them. little inside jokes, or memories, or things they like to do. its just really cute. i couldnt help but "aww"ing at a majority of the numbers on the list. she likes him so much and i know he feels the same for her. i remember last year when she told me about meeting him about them being cautions about starting a long distance relationship, and how they prayed together about it, and just hearing about it grow into the relationship they have now. i remember her reading me a list of 10 things she wants in a guy and realizing that he met 9/10 of those things (or some high percentage like that).
anyway, while i was reading her list, between all of the "aww's", i saw all of the stuff i have to look forward to. not every single one of those specifically (because like i said, alot were specific to them tw0), but those similar inside jokes, those similar 1st time experiences, those similar times together and things in common. and looking forward to them i am! i think that while being single i have grown alot and learned more about myself, which important. and maybe god has more growing and learning for me to do, so i will try to be patient, but when my time of waiting is over...i will be ready and looking forward to all of the love that is waiting to be given and received.

joyful weekends
although this weekend wasnt very productive homework wise, it ended up being a pretty nice weekend.
Friday:
thursday was my roommates birthday so friday noelani, chelsea, austin, leah, and i went to coltons for dinner and then went to see "Graceland" and the "Lottery" in the ulrey. both shows went well. the lotter was very good (depressing but good)! hey, if a show can make you cry twice in 15 mins, thumbs up by me. so yeah, after the meets and greets, i went back to the dorm and us girls watch a "happy movie" called "she's the man" (haha) and raised our spirits back up to joyful. well, my joyful mood was soon shot back down to unhappy after reading an email from an exboyfriend....not an upset mood, but just blahed mood. hard to explain. anyway...
Saturday:
my roommate 'made' me finally get up out of bed at 1-ish and we went to eat lunch. i had a hamburger from the student center, which although was very tasty, was a very very messy as well! then me and leah went to walmart! yay for walmart! we ended up staying at walmart for a long time. especially since we really didnt get that much. but we spent a lot of time reading valentines day cards :-) fun stuff. shortly after our walmart trip i had to run the box office for the plays, so i went and did that. and i ended up running it with aaron tucker, who i had met previously, but hadnt spent any time with before, and what do you know, we were stuck in the same small room together for an hour or more....it was fun. he seems like a cool guy, i would like to become friends with him.
then after box office duties i went to hang out with lucas matthews, yay!! lucas always makes my day brighter. we went to the underground and talked some and played two games of yahtzee. haha, which was alot of fun! i remember playing that game with my grandma all the time when she babysat us over the summers. then we drove around trying to find a shell station, which we failed at, and then looked at stars for awhile...that didnt last long either...clouds and cold dont go well with star gazing...oh well
Sunday:
didnt wake up in time for church :-\ but after waking up i finally cleaned/straightened up my clothes and desk area. which was very much needed. and i got all my class papers and etc organized and in a notebook, yay!! i like being organized.
then i went to the caf with kris to eat and watch the 1st half of the super bowl!! which the 1st half wasnt very exciting....well, it was good. but it ended with a score of 3-7. so just alot of good defense. since i had rehearsal during the 2nd half my dad text me updates of the game. and then during rehearsal we had a 5 min break and mr. miller went to his office and turned the game on in there and so me and katie briscoe RAN up the stairs (both in heels) to watch the last 10 secs...and the giants won!!! yay!!
so yeah. that brings me to rehearsals......
I LOVE IT!!
the cast is super amazing and talented! and i am super excited to show everyone what we have and to get this show polished and being amazing!!
tonight was the first time we had the "trio" (do-op girls) with us at a blocking rehearsal and got the whole song of "downtown (skid-row)" choreographed in 2 hours or less. it was great. and everyone sounds wonderful together! i love it! especially seymour! josh strickland is great, and i love his voice! voice crush award for this show goes to him hands down! heehee....girls are silly
anway. yeah. so i didnt get much schoolwork done, but thats fine because i really didnt have much to do anyway. and it ended up being a very good weekend. yay for friends! i love all of mine, especially the ones that hang out with me and make me happy :-)
now to make collages :-\
